This last week I've thought a lot about Easter and it's importance in my life. I couldn't help but think about last Easter. My heart was tender, knowing that our baby's life would be short, and really trying to understand Heavenly Father's plan for us. We were asked to speak in church that week and our topic was on the Atonement. I was a bit frantic, how could I speak about a topic that really I was trying to grasp myself. But I found that it was a good thing for me, a time for me to study that Atonement and more fully understand it. To understand that Christ made it possible not only for our sins to be forgiven, but also that we can be resurrected and live as eternal families. As the last year has gone by, I've had greater gratitude for our Savior and his sacrifice for us. As we apply the Atonement in our lives in different aspects, it makes the reality of the Savior's sacrifice and love for me even more real.
