Easter this year was so nice and relaxing. We had General Conference the same weekend and I love listening to the leaders of our Church. Saturday we went to my mom's to do our annual egg dying. It's always an adventure with the kids, but they really enjoy it.
Mitch's finished products
And his lovely dyed hands
Libby's finished product. The kids really had fun, but they were being pretty naughty. I threatened them that the Easter bunny wasn't going to come, but they didn't seem to believe me. Later that night Mike and I went to do the Easter Bunny's errands. We had the gifts in the car and didn't take them out for fear that the kids might see them. So we went about our night and we both fell asleep and didn't get the Easter gifts or baskets out. The next morning we woke up to Libby screaming, "Call the Easter Bunny, he didn't come to our house." Mitch was out in the living room crying because the Easter Bunny really didn't come. So it worked out in our favor, we had a nice talk with Mitch especially and told him that he needed to be nice or he wouldn't get anything. We sent him downstairs to call grandma JoAnn and apologize and make his bed and in the mean time the Easter Bunny showed up with bikes and easter baskets so it all worked out. Hopefully a good lesson for Mitch, we hope that Santa comes too this year. We finished our Easter by going for Round 1 dinner at Victoria's with the family. After we left there we went for Round 2 dinner at my parents, so like every holiday we end up eating way too much. We had a great Easter overall!
